Small Goalpost Joystick Topper
The compact version of our U-shape grip, for smaller hands and tighter armrest clearance.

Same open U shape as our standard topper, 3 inches across instead of 4.17. People choose it for smaller hands, and for chairs where the armrest and controller sit close together.
- Open goalpost shape, nothing to pinch or squeeze
- Carbon fiber infused plastic, stiffer than a stock knob
- Fits most standard stems, about 6.4 mm or 1/4 in. Measure to confirm.
- 0.47 oz, so it adds almost nothing to the joystick
- Limited lifetime replacement warranty

Standard or Small?
Same shape, same stem fit, two widths.
Small, 3.0 in wide
3.0 x 1.51 x 0.97 in (76.2 x 38.4 x 24.8 mm), 0.47 oz. For smaller hands, and for chairs where the armrest crowds the controller. This is also the size most people choose for youth and pediatric power wheelchairs.
Standard, 4.17 in wide
4.17 x 2.10 x 1.36 in (106.04 x 53.41 x 34.46 mm), 1.00 oz. The original size, with more surface to rest a hand or forearm on. See the standard topper.
Both fit the same stem
Both sizes press onto the same standard round joystick stem, about 6.4 mm or roughly 1/4 in, so the size choice is purely about your hand and your armrest, not your chair.
How It Fits
It is a press-on upgrade, not an install.
Fits the major brands
Pride, Permobil, Quantum and most other power chairs use the same standard joystick stem, so it fits right out of the box. Have an Invacare joystick? Message us before ordering, that stem is different.
Press it on
Pull the old knob straight up off the stem, line the topper up, and press it down firmly by hand while rocking it gently side to side. No tools, no adhesive and no dealer appointment.
Drive your way
Steer with an open hand, the side of your hand, your wrist, or a light grip. Pop it back off any time you want the original knob again.
